In 1976, immediately after qualifying his Chartered Accountancy, Mr. K.G. Jayasimha set up practice in a small room, that doubled as his bed room. A second hand table and a typewriter kicked off a legacy of 50 years of client service.

By the mid eighties, he had established himself as a trusted advisor and auditor for many upcoming industries in Bangalore and built a small team. He led G. Lakshmipathaih & Co., Chartered Accountants as the senior partner as well, serving multiple industries, banks, individuals and businesses. 

In 2012, Late Mr. Jayasimha, Archana Ashok and Aradhana Ashok came together to create an institution from a practise and incorporated JAA and Associates.

From the beginning, the vision was clear – establish specialists as practise leaders. Create a large firm, capable of handling complexity. Bring global experience of partners to serve local businesses. Catalyze growth for clients and grow with them.

Girish Kaushik was inducted as partner in 2014 followed by Vinay Rotti and R.K. Suchindra.

The firm grew into a multi-disciplinary practise with the induction of Ishita Bhaumik and Niranjan Raman to helm corporate tax and Accounting Advisory

2022 marked a sadness as Mr. Jayasimha attained Sadgati. He however laid the foundations for the institution that is JAA today. A 250+ member team in its own home.
